After struck by a major cyclones due to south west monsoon, Kerala is finding its track to normalcy. Floods affected almost all parts of Kerala and close to 280 lost their lives for this monstrous rainfall. Many reasons lead to this disaster. Water levels reduced in many parts of the state and other transport services have been resumed for few places. This disaster had been categorized as "Level - 3" as per National Disaster Management Guidelines.
